Kaz is a Psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) who has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), an Advanced Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University, and Master of Professional Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute in Melbourne.
Kaz has clinical experience in private practice, providing assessment and mental health support to a range of clients including those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and/or CALD. They utilises techniques from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
Kaz strives to see every individual holistically, considering a client’s lived experience, family context, cultural identity, physical health, disability, personality, and strengths alongside mental health challenges. Their therapeutic approach is grounded is collaborative and person-centred, with a focus on providing a safe experience where clients feel understood and supported to work towards their goals. Kaz also applies a lens of the social model of disability, aiming to recognise barriers in the environment, while increasing access to accommodations and internal resources to improve clients’ wellbeing.

Whether it be a forest, park, or beach walk, Kaz enjoys being in nature, which they find grounding and restorative. Kaz often spends time maintaining a large collection of cacti and other house plants, reading, or trying out different art/craft activities. They are also a lover of film and television, and casual photography.
Kaz has lived experience of neurodivergence, cultural and linguistic diversity, and is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
